圣加仑汇聚了欧洲乃至世界各地的美食。从瑞士本地的奶酪火锅、香肠,到意大利、奥地利、法国、希腊及地中海、中餐、日餐、印度餐等等。
圣加仑本地特色是“圣加仑烤香肠”,这种香肠由当地上午屠夫协会在1438年发明的,后来申请了专利。香肠采用牛肉和猪肉的混合馅。食用方法为烤着吃会简单的水煮。瑞士人的吃法不像德国人要加芥末酱。
“圣加仑杏仁馅蜂蜜饼”(St.Gallen Biber)一种中间是杏仁泥做馅的小甜圆饼。
